A chemistry teacher diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer turns to making and selling methamphetamine with a former student to secure his family’s future. Celebrate the fan-favorite series ‘Breaking Bad’; revisiting some of the most memorable scenes.. 'Breaking Bad' is one of the top rated shows on IMDb, is one of those rarities where every season has been either very positively received or almost universally praised by critics and all my friends have said nothing but good things about. Very few shows in recent memory have me so hooked from the start , that before the week was over, the entire show had been watched, especially since with many shows now, watching one episode to the end can be an effort. 'Breaking Bad' affected me that way, and its reputation as one of the best, most consistently brilliant, and addictive shows in years (maybe even ever) is, in my eyes, more than deserved. Perhaps its weakest season is the first season, which is understandable, since the first season of any show is where things are still unraveling. In fact, everything is remarkably established from the start, but as the writing and characterizations become even more fleshed out, the show reaches an even higher level. Visually, “Breaking Bad” is one of those stylish and beautiful shows, with cinema-quality photography and editing that puts a lot of movies to shame these days.

The steering couldn’t be better

Writing for the movie 'Breaking Bad' is a great example for all shows of how much style, but also a lot of substance. The dialogue is thought-provoking and tense throughout, but it also has a darkly wicked sense of humor and heart-wrenching pathos. The stories are textured, intimate, tense and layered, and the pace is consistently deliberate yet tense. Can’t say anything bad about the acting.
